Source: London Gazette Date: Military Cross 'For continuous good work and devotion to duty from midnight 16/17th September 1918 to cessation of hostilities on 11th November 1918. This Officer is the Battalion Transport Officer and has by his own personal disregard for danger and devotion
to duty, delivered rations and ammunition to the Battalion under the most trying circumstances. When the Battalion was operating at Mormal Forest, Lieut Fraser delivered the rations through a very heavily shelled area, he himself seeing that limbers got safely through the shelling. The example set by this Officer throughout the operations has been magnificent.'
