On leave to United Kingdom, 28 August 1915; rejoined unit from leave, 11 September 1917.

Killed in action, 12 October 1917.

2nd ANZAC Burial Corps reported burial in and around the region Passchendaele/Bellevue Ridge: grave subsequently lost.
