Military Medal 'For conspicuous good service. This NCO has done consistently good work throughout an unusually long period of service. He has always set a fine example of devotion to duty. At Crevecoeur on 1st October 1918 when his Company Commander had been killed he performed very valuable service in reorganising
and holding together the Company.'
