Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty near Bapaume on 26th August 1918. During the advance his Platoon was held up by heavy machine gun fire. Rifleman Fraser led his section boldly forward 350 yards over ground swept by machine gun fire until he was able to attack the enemy post from the flank. By his bold and fearless action Rifleman Fraser enabled his Platoon to reach their objectives.'
