Military Medal 'Operations: British front in the vicinity of the Foret de Mormal 5th November 1918. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During the above operations C.S.M. Fraser took command of two platoons of his Company and led them forward to fill a gap in the line, driving the enemy before them and inflicting heavy casualties. When the enemy put down a heavy concentration of shell fire C.S.M. Fraser moved fearlessly about talking to his men and helping them. His own personal disregard for danger was a magnificent example to all ranks.'
