Military Medal 'In the Noutillerie Sector on the 3rd day of February 1917 this N.C.O was in charge of the left Bombing Party of a Raiding Party of 22 all ranks. He showed great courage and good leadership with the result three prisoners were captured and brought away. He has done excellent work on previous occasions in France.'
