The record of service of this man is a particularly good one, embracing operations of this unit since its arrival in France, and especially the Belle Vue Spur and Becelaere Operations. His unceasing devotion to duty, his cheerfulness under the most adverse and trying circumstances and his coolness under fire have been a splendid example to all.'
