Admitted to Australian Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 16 July 1915 (influenza); transferred to No.24 Casualty Clearing Station, Mudros, 25 July 1915; to HS 'Grantully Castle', 1 October 1915 (rheumatism); to St Patrick's Hospital, Malta, 6 October 1915; to Ghrain Tufficha Convalescent Depot, Malta, 6 October 1915. Admitted to Floriana Hospital, Malta, 1 January 1916 (concussion); transferred to Ghain Tufficha Convalescent Depot, 22 January 1916; marched into NZ Infantry Depot, Ghezireh, Egypt, 18 Febuary 1916.
