Ex Samoan Advance War service: Samoa, Western Front Embarked Wellington, 15 August 1917; disembarked Glasgow, Scotland, 2 October 1917; marched into Sling Camp, 3 October 1917. Proceeded overseas to France, 26 October 1917; joined 3rd Bn, Otago Infantry Regiment, in the field, 9 November 1917, and posted to 10th Company.
