Meritorious Service Medal 'This Warrant Officer has rendered very valuable services in maintaining the discipline and morale of the Battalion during the last six months. He trained
practically all the NCOs in the Battalion and it has been largely due to his efforts that the Battalion has met with success during the recent Operations. He turned out the best Guard at the Brigade Competition and the second best Guard at the Divisional Show. His devotion to duty has always been exceptionally good, and he has invariably set himself out to study the interests of the Battalion.'
