Admitted to No 2 NZ Field Ambulance, 6 February 1918 (ulcer, right hand); transferred to 3rd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station, 7 February 1918; to 18th General Hospital, 12 February 1918 (abscess, right hand: severe); transferred to England, and admitted to No 2 NZ General Hospital, Walton-on-Thames, 22 February 1918; transferred to NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 5 March 1918; discharged on furlough, 11 July 1918, to report to NZ Discharge Depot, Torquay, 26 July 1918.
