Admitted to XV Corps Collecting Station, 30 September 1916; transferred from 26th General Hospital to England on board HS 'Dieppe', 9 October 1916, and admitted to 2nd London General Hospital, Chelsea, 10 October 1916 (goitre); transferred to No 1 NZ General Hospital, Brockenhurst, 9 January 1917; to NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 6 March 1917; to NZ Command Depot, Codford, 23 May 1917. Classified unfit for military service, 30 May 1917.
