Military Medal 'For good work and devotion to duty. He was in charge of Trench Mortars at "Quinn's Post" during June and July 1915 and did excellent work during the raids on the Turkish Trenches at the beginning of June. Good work in the August operations, also while in charge of the Trench Mortars on Cheshire Ridge. He is now doing excellent work with the Battalion bombers here in France.'
