Military Medal 'For gallantry east of Ploegsteert Wood on 14th June 1917. He did valuable patrolling work in the early morning. He then established a line of Snipers Posts and succeeded during the day in sniping about 12 of the enemy in front of La Basse Ville. His work generally has
been of a very high order.'
