Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry in leading bombing attacks against the enemy on the Trescault Ridge on 12th September 1918. During these operations Rifleman Wilson three times led his section against a strong enemy position. On each occasion the enemy put up a very vigorous resistance and Rifleman Wilson showed great gallantry and determination in driving the opposing bombers from their well organised positions. But for his dash and utter disregard of danger the Company would never have reached its objective.'
