Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During the enemy attacks near La Signy Farm on 27th and 28th March 1918 he was in command of a bombing post. He showed great determination in holding his post after his supply of bombs was exhausted and he successfully beat off all the enemy attacks.'
