Proceeded overseas to France, 5 September 1917; joined Bn, in the field, 20 September 1917, and posted to 7th Company.

Reported missing, 4 October 1917.

Court on Enquiry, held 1 November 1917, ruled: 'ufficient time has not elapsed, or sufficient evidence is not available, to bring in a finding of "Reasonable to suppose dead".'
