Distinguished Conduct Medal 'For gallant conduct on 8th November 1918, when, with a patrol of two men, he galloped across country near Les Trois Maisons to draw hostile machine-gun fire and disclose machine-gun positions. On the 9th November, 1918, he again did very gallant work.'
