Military Medal 'For continued gallantry and devotion to duty. This man has accompanied the Forward Observation Officer on every occasion on which the Battery has had to
supply a forward section throughout the present offensive either as a telephonist or linesman, and has on every occasion shown the greatest courage and
resourcefulness under most trying circumstances. He has been also most successful in maintaining communication from forward at great personal risk and
has always set a good example of devotion to duty.'
