Admitted to No 24 General Hospital, Etaples, 2 October 1917 (influenza and tuberculous of lung). Embarked on HS 'Stad Antwerpen' for England, 12 October 1917, and admitted same day to No 1 NZ General Hospital, Brockenhurst. Placed on 'Seriously Ill' List, 20 October 1917.
