Joined C Company, 2nd Bn, 3rd NZ Rifle Brigade, 6 February 1916; transferred to Machine Gun Section, 8 February 1916; transferred to C Company, 2nd Bn, 3rd New Zealand Rifle Brigade, 18 March 1916.
