Military Medal 'For gallantry and devotion to duty from 25th February to 18th September 1918. Corporal Scott has consistently shown magnificent leadership under fire and during the period in question has almost continually been in the line. During the late advance his skilful handling of the mortars under heavy shell and machine gun fire has on more that one occasion materially assisted the advance of the infantry.
His devotion to duty under all circumstances has been an inspiration to all.'
