Croix de Guerre (Belgium) 'For gallantry and devotion to duty. Throughout the whole of the operations from 21st August until 12th September 1918. Sergt Major Reeve has performed very marked service, especially in the attack near Havrincourt Wood on 12th September. When all the Officers in his Company had become casualties he arranged the consolidation of the positions gained, organised the remaining men of his Company and carried on until an Officer was sent up to take charge. Sergt Major Reeve has at all times shown great resourcefulness, initiative and daring and has setca splendid example to his men.'
