Admitted to No 1 NZ Field Ambulance, 21 December 1916 (tracheitis); rejoined Bn, 30 December 1916.

Admitted to No 2 NZ Field Ambulance, 27 February 1917 (inflammation of larynx); discharged to unit, and rejoined Bn, 12 March 1917.

Admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 25 July 1917 (inflammation of larynx); rejoined Bn, 28 July 1917.
