Military Medal 'On the 26th October 1917 near St Julien. This N.C.O. was responsible for ammunition supply. He displayed great courage and initiative in getting ammunition forward on heavily shelled roads, and it was through his splendid example and untiring devotion to duty that this battery's ammunition supply for the attack was maintained.'
