Admitted to No 1 NZ General Hospital, Brockenhurst, 15 May 1917; placed on NZ Roll on account of ill health caused by wounds. Taken off NZ Roll, 16 July 1917, and appointed second in command, NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch.
