Military Medal 'On the morning of 22nd August 1918 near Puisieux. A heavy hostile Barrage was put down on the Battery and two guns put out of action. Working on them regardless of personal safety, he was able to get one of the guns into action in the time to answer an S.O.S. call. He set a fine example to the rest of the men.'
