Military Medal

'For conspicuous coolness under shell fire and devotion to duty in St Jean Area on 19th October 1917. The NCO was in charge of a section employed constructing the road between Spree Farm and Gravenstafel. The road was heavily shelled but notwithstanding this Nunn kept his men under control and completed the task allotted to him. His handling of his section was excellent and saved casualties.'
