Military Medal 'For devotion to duty and consistent good work over a long period in the line. During all the operations in the Somme area Corporal Neilson has carried out his
duties in a very conscientious manner. In the operations in July, near Gommecourt he took a prominent part in the capture of German Strong Points.'
