Military Medal 'This man is a company stretcher bearer. In the early morning of the 10th inst on arriving back to Bulford Camp some 5 miles from the Black Line east of Messines he was informed that six men of his company had been left wounded near Blauwen Molen. He at once returned voluntarily with three comrades and
successfully removed the wounded men to Advanced Dressing Station under continuous shelling from the enemy. His work was consistently good throughout
the operations.'
