Mentioned in Despatches 'British Front South of Armentieres, and Operations Somme, 20th September/6th October 1916. From September 1916 till October 6th this Officer was in charge of the Divisional Grenade and ammunition reserve at Thistles Dump and Flers. These dumps were consistently heavily shelled and he carried out his duties under very trying conditions. At Armentieres Lieut Natusch was a regular Patrol Officer and while on this duty gained very valuable information in connection with raids.'
