Meritorious Service Medal 'For conspicuous ability and devotion to duty during the period 16/17th September 1918 and cessation of hostilities November 11th 1918. This NCO has worked
particularly hard as a Senior Clerk for three years and specially during the period stated. During these operations this Clerk was at his post practically day and night and rendered very valuable services to the Division.'
