Admitted to 2nd Australian Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 16 July 1915 (debility); transferred to 15th Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 23 July 1915; to Malta, and admitted to St Andrew's Hospital, 31 July 1915 (enteritis and ear trouble); transferred to St Patrick's Hospital, 15 August 1915; to Intarfa Military Hospital, 29 September 1915 (enteric fever); to England, 2 October 1915, and admitted to 2nd Western General Hospital, Manchester, 10 October 1915; discharged to NZ Base Depot, Hornchurch, 11 January 1916.
