Meritorious Service Medal 'Driver Leitch has been driving the Battery Water cart for over two years. In that time he has not on one occasion failed to deliver water to the guns in action. During our August/November offensive his work was particularly good and on numerous occasions it was only through his ability and total disregard of personal danger that the supply of water did not fail. Altogether Driver Leitch's record in the
Battery is a very fine one.'
