'For gallantry and great devotion to duty during the period under review. This Officer, as Brigade Bombing Officer, supervised the work of getting ammunition and supplies to the Battalions. In nearly all cases this was done under heavy fire, but on no occasion did he fail to deliver promptly. His example was a great incentive to all who worked with him.'
