Wounded in action, 26 July 1917 (gassed, shell); admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 27 July 1917; transferred to No 1 NZ Field Ambulance, 3 August 1917; discharged to unit, 13 August 1917; rejoined Bn, in the field, 14 August 1917.

Killed in action, 12 October 1917.

Burial recorded; grave subsequently lost.
