Military Medal 'At Factory Corner near Flers on night 26/27th September this NCO was largely instrumental in enabling a strong point to be established under heavy shell fire. He has performed general good work and shown devotion to duty in France from April to September 1916, including operations on the Somme. He has always been conspicuous when dangerous work had to be done.'
