Admitted to No 3 NZ Field Ambulance, 23 July 1917; transferred to 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 24 July 1917; to 51st General Hospital, Etaples, 26 July 1917 (venereal disease); to No 4 Stationary Hospital, Arques, 10 November 1917; discharged to NZ Base Depot, Etaples, 15 December 1917.

Admitted to 51st General Hospital, Etaples, 30 December 1917 (venereal disease); discharged to duty, 23 February 1918; rejoined Bn, in the field, 9 March 1918.
