Mention in Despatches 'This Officer's strict sense of duty has been a marked factor of his work on all occasions. During the operations against the Messines Ridge (June 1917) he acted as Divisional Troops Supply Officer and was at once time supplying no less than 70 units, going on many occasions at great personal risk to satisfy himself that all arrangements for supplies in the forward area were working satisfactorily.'
