Military Cross 'This officer came out as a Lieutenant with the Main Expeditionary Force from New Zealand. He was promoted to Captain at Gallipoli, and when the expansion of the Artillery took place was given command of a battery. Throughout the whole campaign he has done excellent work, first as Forward Observation Officer then as B.C.'
