Military Medal 'Operations: British Front near Salesches. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On the 23rd October 1918, Lance Corporal Frost's Company was attacking the enemy, and he was in command of a Lewis gun Section. When they came to a dense belt of enemy wire through which they could not get, he rushed his gun to a flank and creeping through the wire, brought his fire to bear on the enemy?s flank, turning him out of his position. Then he followed up his success with such tenacity that 60 of the enemy and several machine guns were captured. This NCO set a great example to his men, and throughout the operation rendered splendid service to his Company.'
