Admitted to No 4 NZ Field Ambulance, 1 August 1917 (diarrhoea); discharged to duty, 6 August 1917. Admitted to No 4 NZ Field Ambulance, 20 August 1917 (diarrhoea); discharged to duty, 24 August 1917.
