Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during the operations in front of Crevecouer on the 8th October 1918. During the advance Rifleman Fatt showed great keenness and coolness with his Lewis gun. He fired on many targets and time after time enemy machine guns were put out of action by him, assisting greatly the advance of our troops on the left. At both the first and second objectives he did
valuable work in establishing liaison with English troops operating on the Rifle flank. His work throughout the operation was of a splendid standard.'
