Admitted to No 2 NZ Field Ambulance, 18 June 1917 (bronchitis); transferred 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 23 June 1917; to No 1 Convalescent Depot, Boulogne, 24 June 1917; to NZ Base Depot, Etaples, 28 June 1917. Admitted to 24th General Hospital, Etaples, 11 July 1917; transferred to England, 21 July 1917, and admitted same day to No 2 NZ General Hospital, Walton-on-Thames; transferred to NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 6August 1917; attached to strength of NZ Command Depot, Codford, 24 August 1917.
