Transferred to England, 2 July 1916, and admitted same day to 2nd London General Hospital, Chelsea; transferred to No 2 New Zealand General Hospital, Walton-on-Thames, 17 July 1916; to New Zealand Convalescent Depot, Hornchurch, 20 July 1916; to New Zealand Command Depot, Codford, 4 September 1916. Marched into Sling Camp, 6 October 1916. Proceeded overseas to France, 17 October 1916; rejoined Bn, 7 January 1917.
