This Officer has been most devoted to his work, in organising of Battalion, training and all that tends to improve the efficiency of the Unit. His fine example has done a considerable amount to improve the standard of this Battalion. Steady, reliable and a highly efficient Officer and an excellent Adjutant. His work in training, and while the Battalion was in the line, was of a very high standard.'
