Found guilty, 13 July 1916, of when on Active Service being absent without leave from Tatto, 18 June, until Tattoo, 21 June 1916: awarded 14 days' Field Punishment No 2, forfeited 14 days' pay, and forfeited a further 3 days' pay.

Found guilty, 22 August 1916, of being absent without leave: forfeited 8 days' pay, and deprived of a further 2 days' pay.

Reported 'unaccounted for', in the field, 30 September 1916.

Court of Enquiry, 20 December 1916, concluded soldier was 'missing, believed to have been killed in action'.
