Military Medal 'This N.C.O. has rendered particularly good service to this Unit over a long period. He had charge of his subsection from the end of September until the cessation of hostilities and carried out the service of his guns in a very efficient manner. His work was particularly good in the attack on Solesmes, where he was employed with a forward section operation in close support of the Infantry. Throughout his long service with the Battery he has always been an excellent man in action.'
