Promoted to rank of 2nd Lieutenant, 6 November 1915. Transferred to C Company, 11th Reinforcements, 19 November 1915; transferred to G Company, 11th Reinforcements, 2 December 1915.

Proceeded overseas, 1 April 1916. Disembarked Suez, Egypt, 3 May 1916.
