Military Medal 'Corporal A A Wright has been in all the bombardments carried out by his battery. He has at all times shown great courage and bravery. He came out with the main
body and has not been away from his work preferring to be with his battery during their engagements. Corporal Wright was badly wounded on the night of the 30th June/1st July having been hit in six places.'
